Sa mga lilipad palabas ng bansa — heto ang tips para handa sa immigration inspection!
May inspection ang Immigration Officers para pigilan ang posibleng human trafficking o illegal recruitment.
Ayon sa Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Passengers, ito ang kailangang ihanda.
Para sa mga turista:
- a) Valid Passport;
- b) Visa, kung applicable; at
- c) Round-trip o return ticket.
Maaari ring hingan ng impormasyon tungkol sa:
- a) Age;
- b) Educational attainment;
- c) Financial capability to travel;
- d) Travel history; at
- e) Country of destination
Para dito, makakatulong na ihanda rin ang previous Passports and Visas, Confirmed Accommodations and Travel Itinerary, Certificate of Employment or Registration, Income Tax Return, at Bank Certificate.
Kung may sponsor, ihanda rin ang Affidavit of Support and Undertaking na may impormasyon ng sponsor.
Para sa OFWs naman:
- a) Valid Passport;
- b) Original/valid visa, (ayon sa country-specific POEA advisory);
- c) Airline travel tickets; at
- d) E-receipt o Overseeas Employment Certificate mula sa POEA.
Ayon sa guidelines- as far as practicable ay ‘di dapat ‘lalagpas ng 10 minutes ang inspection, except for extraordinary circumstances.
Ang immigration officers, dapat risonable rin ang pag-conduct ng inspection, at kung may abuso ng awtoridad o oppression- at ang ginawa ay act of cruelty, severity, domination, o excessive use of authority –
Pwedeng mag-reklamo sa Bureau of Immigration, Civil Service Commission, o Office of the Ombudsman at may parusang suspension o dismissal from public service.
Kung nagdulot ng pinsala at talagang may bad faith, gross negligence, o malisya – pwede ring kaushan ang immigration officer para hingan ng danyos o damages.
Importante ang prosesong ito, at mas mabuting maging over-prepared.
