Para makapag-travel abroad ang minors nang hindi kasama ang parehong magulang, kailangan ng Travel Clearance mula sa Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD.
Ang intensyon- protektahan ang mga menor-de-edad, at siguraduhin na kung lalabas sila ng bansa, alam at may pahintulot ng kanilang mga magulang.
Ang application for Travel Clearance ay pwedeng gawin sa DSWD Field Offices. Ang general requirements na kailangang ihanda:
- Application Form;
- Birth Certificate ng bata;
- Copy ng marriage certificate ng magulang, o certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) ng nanay kung labas sa kasal ang anak;
- Notarized affidavit o written consent ng mga magulang;
- Updated passport size photos; at
- Affidavit of Support as evidence to show financial capability ng sponsor para sa travel expenses.
Sa pag-check ng application, aalamin ng social worker ng DSWD ang sumusunod:
- Purpose of travel;
- Reason/s why parent/s cannot accompany the minor;
- Relationship of minor to travelling companion;
- Destination/s with the name and address of person with whom the child will stay; at
- Length of stay abroad and expected date of return
Ang Travel Clearance, may validity na 1 hanggang 2 years.
Importanteng kumuha dahil hahanapin ito ng Bureau of Immigration para siguraduhing lehitimo ang pagbyahe ng bata.
