Mga homeowners, may karapatan kayo sa inyong Homeowners Association o HOA, sa ilalim ng Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners’ Associations o R.A. 9904.
Kabilang dito ang:
- Enjoy all basic community services and use of common areas and facilities;
- Inspect association books and records and request annual reports, financial statements;
- participate, vote and be eligible for any elective or appointive office of the association;
- demand and promptly receive deposits required by the association as soon as the condition for the deposit has been complied with or the period has expired;
- participate in association meetings, elections and referenda, as long as his/her bona fide membership subsists
Ibig sabihin- pwede niyong i-check kung tama ba ang pag-manage ng inyong HOA, at dapat pakinggan ang inyong boses sa pagpapatakbo nito!
At kung talagang ‘di kayo happy sa direktor ng HOA — may karapatan kayong mag-petisyon para ipatanggal ito.
Kung may reklamo o tanong, pwedeng sumangguni sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development o DHSUD sa inyong lugar.

Ang mga HOA, dapat alagaan ang kapakanan ng community na kanilang sineserbisyo.
